Campground listings, park details, amenities, site counts, seasons, websites, and photos are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Places close, rules change, and roads wash out. Always confirm with the land manager or park before you go.
OffGrid does not verify that any location, including spots you add, is legal, safe, open, or suitable for camping. Dispersed camping is subject to federal, state, tribal, and local rules, seasonal closures, fire restrictions, and private property boundaries. It is your responsibility to know and follow them.
Driving routes, distances, times, and toll indications come from Apple Maps and may not reflect current conditions, closures, vehicle restrictions, or unpaved or seasonal roads. Fuel figures are estimates based on the fuel economy you enter. OffGrid is not a navigation device. Do not interact with the app while driving.
Camping, hiking, and backcountry travel involve inherent risks including weather, terrain, wildlife, and lack of cell coverage. You assume all risk of using the information in this app. Carry appropriate maps, supplies, and communication for the conditions.
OffGrid is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, fine, or expense arising from use of the app or reliance on its information.
Spots, notes, and photos you add stay on your device and remain yours. Do not add content you don't have the right to use.
SOS in OffGrid does not contact emergency services. For that, use your iPhone's Emergency SOS. Message and SOS delivery over Friends, Nearby, and Meshtastic is best-effort: whether and how fast something arrives depends on connectivity, the devices and radios nearby, and whether the recipient is reachable by any path at that moment.
